The Project Idea for Final
Lauren Gordon’s Story Idea
I am super into doing business profiles… but working for a magazine that pretty much solely revolves around business profiles, I thought that I did everything to death. However, I am a total book nerd as well, so when I stumbled upon The Wooden Shoe- a book store with a twist. It is an self proclaimed Anarchist book store, that has ton of neat books but also carries an array of underground zines and politically charged t-shirts.
I want to talk to the owner not only about his on personal history, but the history of the store and mostly why he choose South Street as a location. I would take tons of photos for the story; the place is very visually appealing and has so many unique trinkets it should make for an interesting visual

I couldn’t draw all of the plaes in Ireland in the board to save my life, so I just told you what pictures i would be puttng there. I will also hopefully have irish music in the background steadily, while audio seperately for each picture… if I can figure out how to do that of course.
Lauren Gordon: Mini Bio
Lauren Maria Gordon

Major: Journalism Magazine Sequence
Goal: The main goal I have for myself upon graduation is the hope of working with a local Philadelphia magazine. Right now I a continuing an internship I have with Philadelphia RowHome Magazine and am praying that they like me enough to keep me on full time.
Short Bio: I am in my 4th and final (hopefully) year at Temple University. I currently work at a convenience store hell hole, Wawa Food Markets, full time and commute to Temple. I caught the travel bug this summer and did the Temple Ireland Program and spent a glorious, work-free month in the fair city of Dublin. I have a fantastic boyfriend who is also a journalism major here at TU. I like to look at and make art, I’m horrible at dancing and I recently have taken an interest in photography.
