Story Idea

I plan on doing a story about the aftermath of the septa strike. I have interviewed people who relied heavily on public transportation, such as commuter students. I also interviewed people who have experienced previous septa strikes and how they compared old strikes to new strikes. Also I will highlight information about Willie Brown, the man who implemented the strike.

My name is Jocelyn and I am a  senior journalism major with a concentration in magazine journalism.

When I graduate I hope to get a job as a paralegal for a few years.  Although I am a journalism major I plan on attending law school.  I choose journalism as a major instead of legal studies or criminal justice because writing has always been my strong point, and I feel that a good writing background will help me in law school.  I am interesed in listaining to music, cooking, and writing
